While the Falaya Float is a poker run, this event actually has little to do with poker, beyond using the hand rankings to score the event. You don't need to know a great deal about poker to take part, other than what beats what in the scoring - and even that will be done for participants by the organizers. Essentially this event is meant to create memories with friends while raising money for a good cause. This year we are raising money for Saint Tammany Hospital's Autism fund. There is no better time spent than floating down a scenic river on a Summer day in Louisiana.
